Currency Control
The Bank performs the functions of a currency control agent for client operations.
The regulatory framework for currency operations in Kazakhstan derives from the Constitution and the Law “On Currency Regulation and Currency Control” (No. 167-VI dated 02.07.2018), supplemented by:

- Rules for Currency Regulation and Submission of Information on Currency Transactions in the AIFC No. 6 dated 10 November 2021
Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan JSC performs the functions of a currency control agent and monitors compliance with the requirements of the currency legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan during operations. Services: consulting on foreign trade contracts compliant with currency legislation; recommendations on international settlement forms; advisory support on currency legislation throughout transaction stages.
