Social programs

Corporate social responsibility is the foundation of healthy social and labour relations. The bank places great importance on charity and community support.

In May, Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan JSC organised the donation of 40 boxes of personal protective equipment and PCR tests to medical institutions.

For 10 years, Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan JSC has annually awarded scholarships to students of the Oriental Studies faculty at Al-Farabi KazNU and at KIMEP University.

The bank runs the “Wind of Shinhan” programme and regularly organises blood donation drives and sports events for employees. Today, in order to reduce the risk of infection, about 50% of the bank's employees work remotely.
