Social responsibility of business is the basis of healthy social and labor relations in the country according to the corporate philosophy of the Shinhan Way.
In May, Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan JSC organized the transfer of 40 boxes with personal protective equipment and PCR tests to the branch of the Scientific and Practical Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise and Monitoring. The bank has a well-developed volunteer movement - before the restrictions were imposed in the country, the bank's employees annually held charitable events to support children and adults with disabilities - annual New Year's fancy-dress parties, games for development and communication with children, volunteer clean-ups.
In addition, a number of employees of Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan are voluntary blood donors, donating blood to city and republican blood centers several times a year.
For 10 years, Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan JSC annually provides scholarships to students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of KazNU named after Al-Farabi and KIMEP University in order to support talented youth and strengthen friendly relations between Kazakhstan and Korea. Bank employees periodically participate directly in the educational process as members of the examination committee and as instructors. Every year, within the framework of the "Wind Shinhan" program, the bank accepts the best graduate students for practical training with subsequent employment.
Movement is life, and physical activity is life improvement!
The Bank regularly holds sports events to promote a healthy lifestyle among employees and their families. Corporate warm-ups, participation in sports, outdoor activities, partial payment of subscriptions to the fitness club - all this stimulates employees to lead an active lifestyle, despite the "sedentary" lifestyle.
In addition to popularizing physical activity, the Bank pays great attention to taking care of the health and safety of employees. Today, in order to reduce the risk of infection, about 50% of the bank's employees work remotely.
